This course offers an exciting opportunity for snorkel lovers to turn their passion into a profession. You’ll gain the knowledge and skills to confidently supervise snorkeling groups, ensuring both safety and fun for all participants.

What is the Snorkel Supervisor Course?

Think of it as your gateway to a marine adventure career — where your office is the Ocean. This 2-day course trains you to be more than just a snorkeler. You’ll learn how to lead others, manage safety protocols, and respond to emergencies, all while exploring underwater environments.

Day 1 covers Snorkel theory and practical water sessions, including a cheeky snorkel at the breathtaking Busselton Jetty — the longest timber-piled Jetty in the Southern Hemisphere (and one of Australia’s most iconic Snorkel sites)! 

Day 2 shifts into rescue mode. You’ll practice skills like recoveries from depth, team-based water rescues, and towing techniques. It’s hands-on, safety-focused, and sets you up for real-world guiding scenarios.

 What Will I Learn?

Throughout the course, you’ll become a safe, confident, and capable snorkel leader. Topics include:

• Choosing and using the right equipment
• Swimming and breathing techniques
• Ocean awareness and environmental respect
• Group communication and management
• Emergency protocols and rescue techniques

Whether you’re guiding first-timers or seasoned snorkelers, you’ll know exactly how to keep things safe, fun, and flowing smoothly.

Where Can It Take Me?

Once certified, you can work anywhere in the world as a Snorkel Guide. With over 70% of the Earth covered by water, your office could be just about anywhere — from the Abrolhos Islands to Exmouth, where you might even find yourself guiding swimmers alongside Whale Sharks, the gentle giants of the sea.
